You’ve probably seen loose mortars around your foundations. And for the most part, it’s not the end of the world. But you do want to get it repointed and fixed. Repointing essentially involves cleaning out the loose mortar then resealing it with new mortar.
This will help to fortify you foundation and also keep out the critters at night.
One of the cool things you can do is get a sampler of pre-mixed mortar sticks and then use that to match up against your foundations. This will ensure that you don’t get some random color after the repointing finishes.
